I am using OpenSuse 10.2, and the rpm installs fine.
I don't have experience on build distro packages, but if you need I'll try.

I am currently having trouble with pdflatex for building documentation.
I am preparing the Portuguese documentation, but pdflatex can't find
some fonts, and the gretl-guide-pt.pdf appears with blank pages or
garbled text.
