Alright, here are the inputs and the result (in the .gdt file), and the 
long genr command in the script file.

(I noticed that I can't run the command in the console via 
copy-and-paste, BTW.)

The resulting "rpiv" variable is bogus (in reality it's not trending 
upwards like gretl's result), but no program error occurs. And as I said 
before, if the variables are renamed to shorter names, everyting is ok.
