I believe they changed the gtksourceview API, and/or "lang" file 
format, from 1.N to 2.N, and I don't want to have to support both 
versions, so we're sticking with 1.8.5 for the present.

However, gretl should build OK with the bundled gtksourceview.  I 
tried that on my own system (using the configure flag 
--without-gtksourceview to prevent the installed version from 
being used) and the build went OK.

If you can be bothered, could you email me a copy of 
/usr/include/regex.h from Fedora 9?  Thanks!
