I have created a profile: LINK ID = a_cottrell, Public name =
"Allin Cottrell".

I'm not really in a position to do this; I don't have charge of a
mail server.  Can't the existing gretl list be used for that
purpose?  I notice that on Gnumeric's contact page they give their
mailing list address.  I'm afraid that even if I could set up a
special address it would just be a dead-letter box.
