[Gretl-users] Gretl on Mac OS

Hi Juan and others,

Just a question regarding your OS. Which version do you use?

I have been trying to compile Gretl on an G4 ibook MAC OS 10.4.6. and  
XCODE 2.2.1 meaning gcc4.

After sorting out dependencies, including the ones mentioned on the  
site, except for dlcompat, as this is not needed according to Fink in  
tiger (and dlopen seems to work fine) I finally managed to finish the  
configuring process.

A few things that occur:

After configuring the package, libole is marked as NA, though it is  
installed, so this means no excel support if I am correct. I believe  
the rest is ok.

but the make won't finish. make ends with error one:

/usr/bin/libtool: internal link edit command failed
make[1]: *** [libgretl-1.0.la] Error 1
make: *** [lib] Error 2

libtool14 1.5.10 is in place and so is libtool14-shlibs

Has anyone compiled it successfully on tiger?
Can anyone help me out?
The disk image works, except for the graph, I got the same output as  
you did.
If needed I can sent the complete configure and make output as rtf file.
