[Gretl-users] Install GRETL on iMac

Hello All,

I installed gretl 1.6.0 for OS X on my Mac (version 10.4.8) using the
disk image gretl-1.6.0.dmg. When I click open gretl, I get a terminal
window with the following information:

Last login: Thu Oct  5 09:46:16 on ttyp1
/Applications/Gretl_Folder/gretl; exit
Welcome to Darwin!
users-computer:~ Andy$ /Applications/Gretl_Folder/gretl; exit

Then, I get a separate dialog box with a statement, "Press Run to run
this script, or Quit to quit." However gretl does not respond to
pressing either the "Quit" or "Run" buttons. I cannot proceed from
there.

What should I do???
