Thanks for the report.

This looks like the same (apparently pango-related) crash that you 
reported for my build of gretl, done on OS X 10.4.

Could you try deleting the file .gretl2rc in your home directory,
and also running "fc-cache -r".  This looks more like a "run-time" 
problem than a problem in the build of gretl per se.
