Ooh, no, glib-1.2/glib.h is from the old version of glib and gretl 
can't use it.  The one under glib-2.0 is right.

Ignacio, here are a couple of things to check.

* After doing ./configure, take a look in lib/Makefile and
see what is recorded there (not far from the top) as the value
of GLIB_CFLAGS .

* Check the response to the command

  pkg-config --cflags glib-2.0
