Argh!  I hadn't noticed that.  I fixed a broken link on the main 
gretl page, and since I had already adjusted the CVS version 
number, the HTML auto-updater auto-updated!  I've put this back
to 1.6.1 now.

Thanks, Sven.  I think the end of this emergency is in sight and I 
should be able to do a real release soon.
