While this doesn't sound like anything that would be related to the
py4gretl package, in any case py4gretl needs at least gretl version
1.6.1. (Once it is installed, the package should tell you so when you
try to run it on a 1.6.0 version.) So my suggestion would be to upgrade
to gretl 1.6.1, maybe the other error then goes away as well.
